If it isn’t one thing, is always seems to be anohter with puppies. We had recently decided to expand their allowed terrirtory in the house to include the back playroom in which our 11 yr old leather couch had been placed once we had gotten the new couch.

That lasted all of maybe one month. They would sleep on it, rough house on it a bit but this weekend, Ruthanna walked in to find that they had chewed off a corner of one seat cushion!

I guess we will be pulling back the additional boundaries.

After looking online we also saw some very good Newf related forums but they covered not only the whole USA but the whole world. While this is very good to see all these Newf people come together to discuss this wonderful breed, how people handle situations in Europe or in the Northeastern US, may not have any bearing on how we might deal with things down here in Texas and the 5 surrounding states.

Let’s face it, if you live in Texas you never have to deal with 1,2 or 3ft of snow and extended periods of below freezing temperature but you will have to deal with a whole string of 100 degree or more days.

The site is very nice, they have listed a monthly Newf Get Together for the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and one for Newf Net. There also is a nice forum area to discuss Newfs and a photo gallery.
Overall, it looks like it could be a very nice site for Texas Newf lovers to go visit!
