That Didn’t Take Too Long
As of today Piper has been with us 21 days and it is now official. Little Piper is no longer a foster!! Where is her new forever home, you ask? Why where else but right here.
After much debate, it was finally decided that there was just no way we could let this little sweet Newf go to another home.

As you can see, she’s already quite comfy in her new surroundings.
Since we haven’t taken her out much as we needed to first get familiar with her and her with us. Then we had to deal with her getting spayed, here are a couple of pictures to give you an idea just how tiny our little 2 yr 9mo old Newf really is.
Here is Fargo at 1yr old and 115lbs in a standard childs wading pool

Here is Piper in the same kiddie pool

As you can see, pretty tiny for a Newf…and yes, she really is a Newf! We have the AKC papers!

I just found this blog the other day while searching for other insane dog people like myself and wondered why there’s no new posts. I LOL’d at some of these entries as it pretty much describes my life with 3 pyrs (one of which is 5 months old), 4 cats and 3 chickens and we have a landseer newfie puppy on the way at the end of May. Would love to hear more of your antics and see how the brood is doing! Are they all getting along? Is Piper still with you? Fun blog!
