Widget is our rescue cat. We got her from a local rescue group that had plenty of cats and needed some room. We fell in love with her at first visit and brought her home that same day.
She is our lover cat as she loves everyone, including the dogs even though they want her to run so they can play chase. But she has figured this out finally and now won’t run but instead will just lay down or just walk up to the dogs and rub up against their legs. This is all good as she came to us declawed.
Widget has one strange caracteristic about her. Once you start petting her, she will try to start biting the buttons on your shirt. If you don’t have any buttons, she will look for jewelry to bite on. We have never figured out why she does this but have just accepted it as a quirk of hers.
