About This Station
This website was created as a public service for the residents of Paloma Creek Subdivision, Little Elm, Texas, and surrounding areas by Steve and Ruthanna.

Our weather station is privately owned and operated, and should not be considered an officially recognized station for weather reporting. Our site and station are both a hobby and experiment in weather-related computing.
The station is powered by an Oregon Scientific WMR968 Wireless Weather Station. The data is collected every 5 seconds and the site is updated every 5 minutes. This site and its data is collected using Weather Display Software. The station comprises of an anemometer, rain gauge and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible.

Site data is shared with the Weather Underground (KTXLITTL4), the international weather group AWEKAS(3246) and the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration's Citizen Weather Observer Program (CW8403).
